Over 3,000 angry fans have gathered outside the Milan club headquarters to protest ahead of tonight’s final game, demanding owner Gerry Cardinale and all the directors resign.

The team will be at San Siro this evening for their final match of the campaign against already relegated Monza.

That kicks off at 19.45 UK time (18.45 GMT, 20.45 CET), you can follow all the build-up and action as it happens from that game and Bologna-Genoa on the Liveblog.

Meanwhile, the Rossoneri already know they will miss out on European football next term, sitting ninth in the Serie A table and losing the Coppa Italia Final to Bologna.

Over 3,000 fans flocked to the agreed spot outside the club headquarters, with a huge banner at the front stating their complaint.

‘Singer, Cardinale, Furlani, Scaroni, Ibra, Moncada – you must all leave, free Milan from this agony.’

Another banner referenced the incredible collapse of the Milan Futuro project, which saw the youth team relegated from Serie C into the amateur division.

‘Whether it’s the first team or Milan Futuro, with you at the helm, it’s a guaranteed failure.’

There were several banners and chants in favour of sacked former director and Rossoneri icon Paolo Maldini, whereas Zlatan Ibrahimovic came in for particular criticism.

RedBird chief Gerry Cardinale and Elliott director Gordon Singer were named in the banners, along with President Paolo Scaroni, CEO Giorgio Furlani, senior advisor Ibrahimovic and technical director Geoffrey Moncada.

The players and coach Sergio Conceicao were barely mentioned, as the focus was on the lack of any cohesive project at the top of the club, especially as Conceicao is widely expected to leave after just six months.

  1. at this rate, the creation of a Phoenix club like steaua and fc united is not far off! something dra5tic has to be done to make the yanks go away!

  2. Create a phoenix club which the real fan5 will 5upport. Wait for the faux Milan to ultimately vacate 5an 5iro, and then reach an agreement with the mayor to have the phoenix club move in. Thi5 i5 the mo5t progre55ive way of getting rid of the Yanks. Look what ha5 happened to Man Utd since the real fans created FC United. Gone from bad to 16th.
