Boca Juniors President Daniel Angelici has thanked Juventus for allowing them to ‘bring Carlos Tevez back home’.

Angelici was speaking ahead of a Unesco Cup match tomorrow between the two sides’ ‘legends’ teams at the Juventus Stadium.

The President was grateful to the Old Lady, particularly President Andrea Agnelli and director general Beppe Marotta, and underlined the potential of new Bianconeri arrival Guido Vadala.

“A great club like Juventus decided to respect the wish of Carlos,” Angelici said to Sport Mediaset.

“The greatness of Agnelli and Marotta and the brotherhood between the two clubs allowed us to bring him back home.

“We’re happy to have Tevez back, to see him in our shirt again and to see him conclude his career with us, but Juventus have signed Vadala and has the option on our promising young players.

“Vadala is a young player who stood out in all the lower leagues, where he scored lots of goals. He has great quality but must still work and grow.”
