Alessandro Costacurta hailed Anfield for having ‘something in its walls’ as Liverpool beat Barcelona 4-0, while Fabio Capello hit out at Philippe Coutinho.
Liverpool overturned a 3-0 deficit from the first leg of their Champions League semi-final against Barca, who suffered a ‘remontada’ against Roma last season.
“There must be something,” Costacurta told Sky Sport Italia.
“It’s clear that comebacks don’t only happen here, but there must be something in those walls that transforms certain players.

“There must be something,” Costacurta told Sky Sport Italia.
“It’s clear that comebacks don’t only happen here, but there must be something in those walls that transforms certain players.
“I’m referring to Origi who was sent on loan to Germany last season.”
The former Milan and Italy defender was referring to Divock Origi, who spent last season at Wolfsburg but scored twice on the night.
It was then Capello’s turn to decipher the match, and he had some choice words for the Catalans’ defending and Coutinho, who was facing his old club.
“I liked the strength and willingness of this team to always play at a very high level,” explained the ex-Roma and Juventus boss.
“Barcelona found themselves three times in front of Alisson, who made incredible saves, but showed concentration problems as in the fourth goal.
“You can’t concede a fourth goal like that. It’s a masterpiece of guile and vision, but they can’t mess up the way they did because Liverpool’s players are at such a high level that they punish you.
“[Liverpool] also played well. I remember Origi scored against me at the World Cup in Brazil.
“Liverpool, Anfield but also Madrid exploded. It would’ve been worse for them in Madrid if Barcelona won the Champions League there.
“Valverde was a bit presumptuous in playing the same team from the first leg. For me, Coutinho didn’t have to play. He does nothing away from home.”
