Djavan Anderson will have a medical with Lazio this morning before officially signing for the Biancocelesti.

The defender, formerly of Bari, is a free-agent after the Puglia club went bankrupt at the end of last season.

The Dutchman began his career at Ajax and has also played for AZ Alkmaar and SC Cambuur in his homeland.

He joined Bari, who were in Serie B, last summer but their defeat in the play-offs earlier this summer meant they were forced to drop to Italian football’s fourth tier to reform.
