Marko Pjaca is returning to Juventus yet again after Belgian reports RSC Anderlecht are not taking up their option to extend the loan.

The 25-year-old was a huge promise of Croatian football when he was signed from Dinamo Zagreb in 2016 for €23m, but a series of devastating injuries left his career floundering.

Loan spells at Schalke 04, Fiorentina and now Anderlecht have failed to generate regular playing time or consistency.

He moved to Anderlecht on loan in January 2020 with an option to extend that for another season.

However, HLN in Belgium report today RSCA have informed Juve that they won’t be taking up that opportunity.

He made just four Jupiler Pro League appearances, scoring one goal.

Pjaca’s contract with Juventus runs to June 2023 and they must now find him another destination.
