Anderlecht are reportedly in advanced talks with Fiorentina over a move for Christian Kouamé.
Sky Sport Italia reports the Ivorian forward seems set to join the Belgian side this summer, as Vincent Kompany’s team have accelerated the talks with Fiorentina in the last few hours.
The two parties are working to reach an agreement for the 23-year-old’s move to Anderlecht, who have been chasing the former Genoa and Cittadella striker for some time.
Kouamé has also been linked with a move to Freiburg in the German Bundesliga, but the report claims Anderlecth are in pole position.
The Ivory Coast international arrived at Fiorentina in January 2020, when he was still recovering from a cruciate ligament injury.
He has since played 43 competitive games with Fiorentina, scoring three times in the process, but his future seems to be in Belgium.
