The Italian tactician won beat the likes of Pep Guardiola (Manchester City), Xabi Alonso (Bayer Leverkusen) Luis de la Fuente (Spain), Lionel Scaloni (Argentina) and Gian Piero Gasperini (Atalanta) to the 2024 award, the first in existence.
‘Carlito’ won the Coach of the Year after another triumphant season in Spain with Real Madrid, where he won both LaLiga and the Champions League, as well as the UEFA Super Cup against Atalanta earlier this summer.
His club, Real Madrid, have also been awarded the Club of the Year award for 2024.
