Italian coach Carlo Ancelotti has welcomed Kylian Mbappé to Real Madrid with a social media post.
The Italian tactician will coach one of the best players in the world next season as Madrid unveiled Mbappé as their new coach today.
Ancelotti shared on Instagram a picture of a morning meeting with Mbappé and a message for the French superstar.
“Welcome to the best club in the world. Welcome home, Kylian. Hala Madrid.”
Ancelotti has won the Champions League five times during his managerial career, more than any other coach. He did so twice at Milan and three times at Real Madrid.
He signed a contract extension with Madrid a few months ago and will remain at the club until June 2026.
Mbappé has spoken about today’s meeting with Ancelotti, saying that he joked with the Italian tactician and that he didn’t discuss his role on the pitch.
