Alexandre Pato may have turned down a €35m move to Paris Saint-Germain, but Carlo Ancelotti believes “we’ll see” about a new offer in June. "It was a strange tale."

Milan had agreed terms with the French side last week only for the striker and President Silvio Berlusconi to pull the plug on Thursday afternoon.

“It was a strange tale and there’s something in there that we don’t know about,” commented PSG Coach Ancelotti in the Gazzetta dello Sport.

“As for the future, we’ll see. I can certainly say that we won’t discuss it any more in January.”

Instead, the Parisians are battling Inter to sign Carlos Tevez from Manchester City, although there are other options.

“Various agents are trying to offer us players like Tevez, Fernando Torres, Dimitar Berbatov, Roman Pavlyuchenko, Edinson Cavani and Fernando Llorente.”
