On from Sacchi's latest response, Ancelotti spoke to Mediaset in the post-match interview after Real Madrid’s 2-0 Champions League win at Schalke.

Refusing to make an extended commentary, the Blancos chief limited himself to two phrases: “I give my regards to Arrigo Sacchi. Many enemies, much honour.”

This will cause further controversy, as the phrase was originally attributed to Julius Caesar, then used again by Fascist leader Benito Mussolini.
