Real Madrid boss Carlo Ancelotti will face his former club Chelsea in the Champions League quarter-finals.
The draw for the Champions League quarter-finals and semi-finals is taking place in Nyon. Ancelotti’s Real Madrid have been paired with Jorginho’s Chelsea.
Ancelotti spent two seasons at Stamford Bridge between 2009 and 2011, winning 68 of his 109 games in charge of the Blues. He won one Premier League, one FA Cup and one Charity Shield during his time at the club.
Ancelotti’s Madrid beat Gigio Donnarumma and Marco Verratti’s PSG in the Round of 16, while the Blues eliminated Lille.
There are no Italian teams in the Champions League quarter-finals for the second year in a row after Juventus and Inter were eliminated in the knock-out phase.
Villarreal eliminated Juventus and have been paired with Bayern Munich, while Liverpool who got the better of Inter, will face Benfica.
Atalanta and Roma are the only Serie A clubs left in European competition and will know their opponents in the Europa League and Conference League later today.
