In his Press conference ahead of tonight's game against Getafe, Ancelotti discussed his future.
“I still haven't spoken with the club, nor the club with me,” he said. “I still think of myself as the Real Madrid Coach until the club tells me otherwise.
“On Sunday or on Monday we're going to meet so we can discuss what my future will be and that of the club.
“If I stay, then that's fantastic, because that's what I desire.
“There is much movement of Coaches. I'm surprised that people are surprised by that.
“I always had a good relationship [with President Florentino Perez], but now he must make some important decisions.
“Still, I haven't seen anything different in these days compared to how things have been over the last two years. I'll still have a good relationship with him, even should I leave.
“If I stay then I'm happy. If I leave, then I take away two fantastic years here. After that, each shall go their own way.
“I may have had sad and happy moments, but perhaps I was here in the happiest moment of Madrid's history. I gave what I could give. These things happen in football.
“My feeling is that I'll continue here. The club is considering it and I wish to continue, because I like the club and the city.
“As a fan and an expert in this world, I understand that I may be questioned.
“I'm not bothered by the rumours about potential successors to the Real Madrid bench, like [Napoli's Rafa] Benitez or others. It's normal, and it's been happening for a long time.”
