Carlo Ancelotti, Pep Guardiola and Jurgen Klopp are the nominees for the 2021-22 UEFA Men’s Coach of the Year.

The Italian tactician won the Champions League for the fourth time in his coaching career last season, beating both Guardiola and Klopp’s teams.

His Real Madrid side knocked out Guardiola’s Manchester City from the semi-finals and beat Liverpool in the Final.

He also won the La Liga title for the first time in his career, becoming the first coach to win the domestic title in the top five European leagues.

Ancelotti had already lifted the Champions League twice with Milan and once with the Merengues. He has started off the season on the right foot by winning the European Supercup against Eintracht Frankfurt.

Karim Benzema, Thibaut Courtois and Kevin De Bruyne are the nominees for the 2021-22 UEFA Men’s Player of the Year award.

The winners will be announced at the 2022-23 Champions League group stage draw ceremony on August 25.

  1. Emery got a club from a city of 50K people into a champions league semi final, and he doesn’t even get a nomination?
