De Laurentiis has faced criticism from some sections of Napoli supporters for not matching the spending of the likes of Juventus and Inter.
However, speaking at a Press conference, Ancelotti expressed his belief that the Azzurri have made huge strides forward under the film producer.

De Laurentiis has faced criticism from some sections of Napoli supporters for not matching the spending of the likes of Juventus and Inter.
However, speaking at a Press conference, Ancelotti expressed his belief that the Azzurri have made huge strides forward under the film producer.
“Complaints about the President surprise me a bit,” Ancelotti told reporters.
“This club has made incredible steps forward in the last 12 years.
“There are good players here, excellent professionals. There is a great working atmosphere here without having spent like crazy.”
Ancelotti added that he has been impressed by the club both on and off the pitch since his arrival.
“We have never argued. There are great expectations around me, that is normal.
“But I have to say I have come into a great environment. Not just concerning my players but everyone who works at Napoli.
“They are capable people and they work very hard. I have enjoyed my time up until now and when I enjoy myself, I can also be dangerous!”
