Carlo Ancelotti has the opportunity to set more records when his Real Madrid take on Eintracht Frankfurt for the UEFA Super Cup tomorrow evening.

The game is scheduled for the winners of the Champions League and Europa League last season, who cross paths in Helsinki on Wednesday night.

Italian tactician Ancelotti already has so many records to his name, including the first man ever to win all five major European League titles.

He now has 23 trophies in his management career, fewer only than Mircea Lucescu on 34, Pep Guardiola on 31 and Jose Mourinho with 26 among the coaches still in activity.

Ancelotti has already won the UEFA Super Cup three times, the same as Guardiola, and four would be a new all-time record.

This would be his ninth official UEFA trophy, leaving behind Sir Alex Ferguson and Giovanni Trapattoni on seven.

As for Real Madrid, they currently share the record of UEFA Super Cup victories with Milan and Barcelona on five apiece.
