Fiorentina have still not received any offer from Manchester United and Sofyan Amrabat is getting ‘frustrated’ at the lack of progress and looking at other options, claim reports in England.

It has been evident for months that the Morocco international is wanted by Erik ten Hag, just as clear that he agreed personal terms and would relish the move to Old Trafford.

However, the Viola confirmed that no formal bid has been received at all and The Telegraph newspaper claim today that not even a verbal proposal was put forward.

Amrabat and his entourage are therefore ‘frustrated’ at the situation and could start to look at other alternatives.

There is no shortage of them, with interest from Liverpool, Atletico Madrid and possibly even Napoli in Serie A.

Time is running out before the transfer window shuts on Friday and Fiorentina have decided not to play Amrabat until then to avoid distractions or potential injuries.

The asking price has always been €30m, yet the Telegraph also report that Manchester United are considering using those funds for Pierre-Emil Hojbjerg from Tottenham Hotspur instead of Amrabat.
