Massimo Ambrosini is in no rush to sort out his future. “We’ll wait for Milan,” his agent has insisted.

The midfielder is only contracted until June and it is unclear whether the Rossoneri will offer him a new one-year deal.

The 36-year-old says he wants to continue his playing career, but would only remain in Italy if the Diavolo offered him new terms.

“The desire of the player is to wait for Milan to make a decision,” Moreno Roggi told TMW. “That’s what has happened in the last few years.

“A move abroad? There are some possibilities, but nothing concrete. Everything is at a standstill right now, but the MLS is a championship which Massimo is curious about.”

The former Cesena player, signed by the Diavolo in 1995, earns around €1.5m a season at the Stadio Meazza.
