It has been widely reported that Hoffenheim have sent emissaries to Italy for in-depth negotiations, as they are eager to convince the Brazil-born Italian international into a transfer.
“Amauri is happy at Parma,” said agent Giampiero Pocetta. “The meeting with the club was to confirm their intention of keeping the player despite the offers, in particular the one from Hoffenheim.”
Parma technical director Antonello Preiti also told Radio Crc that the bid would be rejected.
“We want to keep Amauri, not just because he is a strong striker with great experience, but also as he is a good person.”
