The Brazilian-born Italian international isn’t a part of the first team squad in Turin after rejecting a summer move away from the club.

Having not played since he returned from a loan spell at Parma last term, the centre-forward is desperate to get his career back on track.

“I’m counting the days until the window opens,” the former Palermo man, who is on €3.8m a season in salary, told Sky Sport Italia.

“I hope that the situation can be resolved as soon as possible. I have no other option but to leave Juventus in January.

“Where to? I’m reading a lot of things about myself in the newspapers, but I don’t know what is happening in reality.

“There are people who are working on a move for me and it’ll be their job to find me a new club.”

Amauri, 31, joined Juve in 2008. He’s been linked with a number of French clubs and Tottenham in England.

The South American will be available for a nominal fee as his contract in Turin will expire in June 2012.
