Former Roma star Amantino Mancini has taken his first managerial job after being confirmed as Foggia’s new Coach.
Mancini is handed the reins at a Foggia side who must start again in Serie D following their demotion from the second tier.
The 39-year-old is best known for his spell at Roma between 2003 and 2008, scoring 59 goals in 222 games.
His performances on the Giallorossi’s right wing earned him a €13m transfer to Inter, but he could not rekindle his previous form.

A loan stint at Milan and moves in his native Brazil followed, prior to his retirement in 2016.
His career was marred by a prison sentence for sexual assault in 2011, although there is no record of the Brazilian serving any time behind bars.
