Marcos Alonso believes Fiorentina can win the Scudetto – 'Napoli aren't favourites and Juventus are only a point ahead'.
The Viola were defeated at home by Lazio last weekend, allowing the Vesuviani and the Bianconeri to move past them.
“I want to win with this shirt,” Alonso told Gazzetta dello Sport.
“We can fight for a place in the Champions League, and also for the Scudetto. Napoli are only three points ahead, and [Maurizio] Sarri’s team are not favourites for the title.

“I’d say that’s Juventus, the Bianconeri are well aware of how to win Scudetti. They have experienced players, and big talents like [Paulo] Dybala and [Alvaro] Morata.
“But Juventus are only a point ahead of us.”
Alonso also urged forward Giuseppe Rossi to stay at Artemio Franchi this January.
“I hope Pepito remains, he’d be Fiorentina’s best signing for the winter transfer window. But I understand the period he’s going through, and I want him to be happy.”
