Juventus fans are absolutely furious following their 2-1 loss against Benfica, but #Allegriout wasn’t the only hashtag trending on Twitter in Italy last night.

The Bianconeri have only won two games from eight across all competitions this term and lost the opening two Champions League group stage games for the first time in history. The team was booed by the Allianz Stadium crowd last night, but Allegri insisted he is ‘part of the solution’ and not the problem.

That’s not exactly what Juventus fans think as the hashtag #Allegriout was trending on Twitter in Italy after Juventus’ loss last night with over 21,000 posts about the matter.

Vlahovic was another talking point as the striker looked irritable and didn’t have a single shot on target. He has scored four goals in seven appearances across all competitions so far this season but only one from open play.

Di Maria was trending too. The Argentinean striker was spotted talking to Arek Milik after last night’s clash seemingly asking the Pole why Allegri had subbed him off.

If most fans see Allegri as the main responsible for Juventus’ poor results, Zizou Zidane and Thomas Tuchel seem to be the most popular candidates to potentially take over at the Allianz Stadium.

The ex-Chelsea boss was mentioned in 38,5000 tweets, Zidane, a former Juventus star, in 8,625 posts.

Andrea Agnelli got over 4,000 mentions last night, less than Pogba and Cuadrado. The Colombian winger has had a slow start to the season, while the Frenchman underwent meniscus surgery last week and won’t be back before January.

He had opted to follow a conservative treatment in August but changed his mind last week when he agreed to go under the knife as doctors didn’t see improvements in his physical condition.

  1. The Pogba issue is shocking, he should have been told to have the surgery straight away, we are paying his wages, we need him back as soon as possible.

  2. Suck it up. Amazing how all the PhD pantyhose fan girls are now throwing him under the bus. When the legend of pyramid football returned, all I heard was 5 scudetti and 2 CL finals. That was another era where he had the team built by Conte and there was no competition at home. Tuchel should never disgrace his record by coming to this small club. As for Zidane the same also applies. You cannot change the mentality of this 19th Century style club. They love the 1-0, 0-0 and 1-1 style back, back, down, down.
