Milan are three points clear of Napoli ahead of next Monday's match between the two sides.

"Pato is getting back to the level of his first few years in Italy," Allegri told Radio Montecarlo.

"He was out for almost 10 months in 2010. Returning to play is not easy above all on a mental level, also because there are many more players in the squad than last year.

"People lose sight of the fact that Alexandre is a 21-year-old lad with his own weakness and moments of difficulty.

"Now he is a lot calmer. He has come out of this injury well and is doing good."
