Massimiliano Allegri reportedly hopes to bring Miralem Pjanic back to Juventus on a free transfer from Barcelona.

Pjanic moved to the Catalans last summer, when Arthur Melo came in the opposite direction, but the Bosnian has struggled to convince at Camp Nou and the Blaugrana reportedly offered to terminate his contract and allow him to move on a free transfer.

Mundo Deportivo reports the Bianconeri coach has made Pjanic one of his priorities on the transfer market and the Spanish outlet believes Pjanic could be heading back to Turin.

The 31-year-old Bosnia-Herzegovina international played 178 games with the Old Lady before moving to Spain and featured 30 times for the Blaugrana in 2020-21.

Pjanic’s deal with Barca expires in June 2024 and the La Liga giants are hoping to remove the financial burden of his wages.

Roma were linked to the player but have reportedly withdrawn from the race to bring the Bosnian back to the Olimpico.
