Juventus ultras chanted Massimiliano Allegri’s name before today’s game against Atalanta, but not all fans at the Allianz Stadium were happy.

The Italian tactician recently became the first coach to earn 1,000 points in Serie A, so Juventus ultras at the Allianz Stadium celebrated their coach in the opening stages of a league game against Atalanta. Football Italia is among the accredited media in Turin.

Ultras chanted Allegri’s name and exposed a banner that read: ‘Only you, 1000 and more, immense Allegri.’

However, not all Juventus supporters seemed happy with the ultras’ decision and some boos were heard from other sectors of the stadium, coming from a minority portion of ordinary fans.

Juventus supporters have often criticised Allegri on social media for his defensive playing style, and the Livorno-born coach has been in the spotlight over the last month as the Old Lady lost three games from six, winning just once.

The Italian tactician’s contract at the Allianz Stadium runs out in June 2025.
