Massimiliano Allegri won’t be the Juventus coach next season and could even be sacked before the last two games of the campaign, but not all Bianconeri fans are happy to see the Italian tactician leave.
Allegri has been under fire over the last few months, not only because of Juventus’ defensive playing style but also due to a bad run of form that saw the Bianconeri collect just 15 points in the latest 15 Serie A matches.
Juventus director Cristiano Giuntoli had already decided to sack Allegri weeks ago, but ironically, Wednesday’s Coppa Italia victory may have sped up the coach’s departure.
Even if Allegri has been criticised by most Juventus fans, especially on social media, not all Bianconeri supporters are happy to see him leave.
The mixed feelings of Juventus fans are shown in the comment section of a joint Instagram post by Lega Serie A and Juventus in which Allegri is shown lifting the Coppa Italia last night.
The post received over 1,800 comments, many of which are from Juventus fans who defend Allegri, not only for his latest achievement.

“Massimiliano Allegri will always be my coach. If they really sack him, it’s only because they understand nothing about football and Juventus.”
Despite a debatable playing style, fans who back Allegri believe the Italian tactician has a clear idea about Juventus’ DNA and has proved loyal to the club by returning to Turin in 2021 to replace Andrea Pirlo.
Another fan urged others to “apologise to Max”, describing the Livorno-born coach as “a true Juventino and the only one who fought against everyone.”
Another hoped that all those who support Juventus “loved the club as much as him.”
Fans have also been showing different views on Allegri during matchdays. Over the last few months, Ultras in Curva Sud urged the club to extend the coach’s contract beyond 2025, while ordinary supporters sometimes booed the 56-year-old and the Ultras’ decision to back Max.
In a recent statement, Juventus ultras said they are against the potential appointments of Antonio Conte or Thiago Motta, but the latter appears the most likely candidate to take over at the Allianz Stadium next season.
For sure Conte must not be considered to return. He left us for the eternal rivals. Hope the club admin do not give us any surprises.
I am happy!!! Allegri OUT!!!
