Massimiliano Allegri will meet Juventus directors today to lay out the Old Lady’s transfer plans for the summer.

The Tuscan tactician and his staff arrived at the Continassa in the late morning.

Allegri was appointed Juventus coach last week and according to several Italian outlets, including La Gazzetta dello Sport, Il Corriere dello Sport and Tuttosport, he will meet the club’s director Federico Cherubini today to discuss the transfer plans for the summer.

La Gazzetta dello Sport reports Allegri has already talked to Leonardo Bonucci and Giorgio Chiellini, who will sign a one-year contract extension, going into the last season of his playing career.

According to the report, Allegri trusts Wojciech Szczesny, and for this reason, talks to sign Gigio Donnarumma have been put on hold.

Allegri would like to bring Miralem Pjanic back to the club, but the former Bianconero could only leave Barcelona on loan. Although he moved to the Nou Camp in a swap deal with Arthur last summer, his transfer value was in the region of €80m, which makes it impossible for the Catalans to sell the player on a permanent deal.

La Gazzetta reports Allegri prefers Pjanic over Locatelli, who remains on Juventus’ radars.

The Italian coach hopes Paulo Dybala will sign a new contract with the Old Lady and has already convinced the club to extend Alvaro Morata’s loan at the Allianz Stadium.

Last but not least, Cristiano Ronaldo will soon inform the club about his plans for the future, but Allegri suggested Juventus sell the Portuguese in 2019 to strengthen the rest of the team.
