Juventus coach Max Allegri has been spotted today meeting new PSG director of sport Luis Campos, fuelling speculation he could take over at the club, but that remains very unlikely.

The encounter was photographed and published by La Source Parisienne, showing Allegri and Campos standing outside a hotel together, seemingly waiting for someone else.

It was accompanied by a message assuring Allegri could be the ‘future coach of Paris.’

However, there is more to it than that, because Allegri and Campos are good friends and have been for some time.

Football Italia sources identified the photograph as the Hotel de Paris in Montecarlo and it was probably taken during the weekend of the Formula One Grand Prix.

It is true that PSG are looking for a new coach, as the rapport with Mauricio Pochettino broke down after their Champions League exit to Real Madrid.

Options seem to include Zinedine Zidane and current France boss Didier Deschamps, while Jose Mourinho was linked, but has no intention of leaving Roma.

Allegri was out of action for two years before returning to Juventus on a long-term contract, which expires in 2025.

Despite some irritation from fans and media at the failure to win a single trophy or play attractive football, President Andrea Agnelli seems determined to stick with the tactician.

  1. CALMAAAA!!!

Al-Khelaifi is not that dumb to go and appoint a relic from the fossil era. P$G want to win the CL and are committed to that cause, with many barrels of oil working overtime to achieve it one day. By ever hiring PhD Obi Wan Max, they will have to wait another 300 years and Omicron Max will demand players over 35 years, young and counting.

  2. If tbey hire him after last season they are dumber than agnelli.

Agnelli is so stupid instead of admitting he made a mistake trying to turn back time with the dinosaur hunter Allegri, he’s stick with the stubborn old tactician until it all burns down. As fans, dont buy tickets to this circus until they show some ambition.

  3. I think Allegri would be perfect for PSG.

To get the best out of the front 3 of Messi, Neymar and Mbappe who don’t defend you need to play unattractive, counter attacking, results driven football which is Allegri’s M.O.

Forget how bad Juve were at the start of the year, they hardly lost from Christmas and had they had a better start to the year would have finished higher up the table.
