Two goals by 21-year-old forward Andrea Favilli gave the Old Lady victory over the German champions in the International Champions Cup match played in Philadelphia.
And speaking post-match, the Bianconeri Coach declared himself satisfied with how his side had performed.
“The boys did well. It was our first match and we did well considering the shape we were in,” Allegri told reporters.

“Quite a lot of young boys played and they showed they are at a high level.
“We are working a lot on the defensive side of things because, out of the attackers available, I only have a few young boys.
“Favilli did well, scoring two goals.”
