Massimiliano Allegri has received his just cause for dismissal from Juventus, which he’ll appeal in a labour court soon.

The 56-year-old Italian coach was officially sacked by the Bianconeri on May 17th, less than 48 hours after he guided the club to their 15th Coppa Italia with a 1-0 win over Gian Piero Gasperini’s Atalanta, bringing an end to his second spell in the Piedmont capital.

Juventus justified their dismissal of Allegri based on his behaviour at the Coppa Italia final, where he verbally attacked Tuttosport editor-in-chief Guido Vaciago after being shown a red card, damaged a LaPresse photo area and came to blows with the club’s management on the pitch.

Allegri feud with Juventus

Gianluca Di Marzio details how Allegri is currently in London to watch the Champions League final between Real Madrid and Borussia Dortmund, where he received the just cause for dismissal from Juventus, who pointed to his actions at the Coppa Italia final.

The Italian tactician will soon present his appeal against the dismissal to a labour court and judge, taking legal action against the Old Lady. It’s expected that he’ll ask the club for damages to his image as a result of their decision.
