Allegri in a hurry: Juve could finalise Kostic deal today

Multiple reports in Italy claim Juventus could finalise a deal to sign Filip Kostic from Eintracht Frankfurt today.

The Bianconeri have already reached a verbal agreement with the player’s agent Alessandro Lucci who is also the representative of Leonardo Bonucci and Mattia Perin.

Kostic is unwilling to extend his contract expiring in 2023 and is pushing to join Juventus. The Bianconeri are close to reaching an agreement with his club.

La Gazzetta dello Sport, Sky Sport Italia and Il Corriere dello Sport claim the representatives of the two clubs could shake hands today.

Juventus have offered €15m plus add-ons, coming close to matching Eintracht Frankfurt’s €20m asking price.

Max Allegri is in a hurry to welcome the 29-year-old so that he won’t take part in the European Supercup against Real Madrid on Wednesday and be ready for Juventus’ Serie A opener against Sassuolo on Monday, August 15.

  1. According to Mr. Allegri everything is there for him.. nothing to worry about..
we always play great it’s just a matter of concentration that keep shipping in a few goals every 45 mins

  2. This guy is at most a squad player, not a game changer. Not sure what Allegri expects him to do….

  3. The sheer volume of hate by people who have played Football Manager a couple of times in their lives thinking they know a thing or two about football is mesmerizing, to say the least.

Juventus doesn’t know what they do, but these guys do. Wow, no wonder every top club is knocking down on your doors guys, trying to pick you up and line you up in their staff.

    Keep it up!

  4. @ Gigi: Indeed. It was probably also Allegri’s fault that Rabiot, Arthur and Sandro played bad under Pirlo and Sarri too.

  5. Juve have moved some very sorry over priced talent out with still work to do, on the other hand have brought some quality in, I’m not exactly sure what Kostic will be able to bring to this squad as it seems jUVE have spent their limit and are watching their pennies with this guy i still find it hard to believe they will make a move for De Pay as he will ask for big money, I HAVE a feeling they will move for Muriel in the end which would amount to average like Kostic
Mad Max will have to deliver this year or face the axe!

  6. Sad to allready know how Juve will have a poor start and maybe even first half of the serie a ..before management realizes the scudetto is out of reach and the problem is the tactics or lack of same.
    Hope I’m wrong 😑
