Massimiliano Allegri is reportedly furious with the Juventus directors, as the coach expected a different transfer market.

The Bianconeri brought Allegri back to the Allianz Stadium after sacking Andrea Pirlo after 2020-21, but Juventus have only picked up one point from their first two games.

Cristiano Ronaldo left the club this month and re-joined Manchester United and Juventus brought back Italy international Moise Kean from Everton.

Manuel Locatelli has arrived from Sassuolo to bolster the midfield, but Il Giornale reports Allegri was not happy with the business this summer.

The Juventus coach expected a completely different transfer market and the newspaper writes Allegri is ‘furious’ with President Andrea Agnelli and sporting director Federico Cherubini.

Allegri reportedly told his bosses that ‘these were not the agreements’ when he accepted a return to the club ahead of 2021-22.

With Miralem Pjanic staying at Barcelona, the Bianconeri failed to bring in a new regista, something Allegri had requested from the club.

  1. Doesn’t make any difference who they brought in because Allegri is now their biggest problem he hasent got a clue,

The battle for the scudetto will be between Milan clubs
3rd spot will be between Rome clubs
watch out for my dark horse fiorentina.

  2. If anything, the best thing with this mercato which otherwise was disappointing was not to get Pjanic back!

Remembering the good old Moggi quote “I am of the theory that reheated soups are not good.”
Pjanic as regista, what a joke! pass to side, pass back and . . . yeppp pass sideways once again.

  3. This Juve management we have all known for some time are absolutely incompetent. Agnelli should have resigned a long time ago. There has been no strategy for some time now. Well, apart from to pick up every ‘free’ player available on the market, regardless of how injury prone, old, useless, attitudeless that player is.

Nedved needs to step aside as well. Let’s just think about the market this year – we’ve replaced Ronaldo….. with….. Moise Kean.

I’m surprised Allegri came back given the clubs he could have gone to – it looks like this year is going to be very difficult for him.

  4. The failure to bring in another striker to fill in for Ronaldo is a major failure. Or they needed a better option on the wings to play opposite Chiesa and a center forward. I didn’t like the idea of bringing back Pjanic. He never worked as a regista. We’re left with the same problems: a front line that lacks direction, a midfield that isn’t sufficiently mobile, physical, or tactically disciplined, and a lack of depth in defense.

  5. Louis:

The man was out for two years I do not think he was waiting around if we called him again. Let face it none of the clubs he was interested in was interested in him

  6. the moment they sack don marotta its the end of juventus era. they failed to appreciate his worked over years.
inter should thanked juventus to give them their best recipe winning scudetti over the year.

  7. Without Pjanic we can not even win Serie A. we won nothing since he left. It was a very simple deal which we miss.

  8. It’s better to have an incomplete transfer than signing the likes of pjanic, lacazette, aubameyang,Kean is a disaster he should have gone for Belotti or insigne then let Ramsey and Bentancur leave but the guy is clueless

  9. As an AC Milan fan all of this is only good news. As a football fan I think Juventus should have considered this to be a “year zero” and blown up the squad completely. Keeping only Dybala, Chiellini, Bonucci, De Ligt, Kulusevksi, Chiesa, McKennie, Betancur and bringing in Locatelli. Everyone else over the age of 22 is expendable. Then a bunch of highly talented young players, in the same vein as Kaio Jorge should have been brought in. A different coach would also have been required for this project. A young and hungry one. One that is used to taking young talented players and getting the best out of them. I’m thinking De Zerbi. This probably would have meant sacrificing CL qualification for at least one season, maybe two, but it would have set Juve up for the next decade. Unfortunately football clubs have a pathological fear of taking a step back, even if it means being able to take two steps forward in the future. See Barcelona, who is almost financially ruined by overpaying players, and for players, including Messi. They also stopped relying on their cantera, which is what brought them to the top of the world in the first place. So now these clubs are taking two steps back instead. Oh well.

  10. pjanic?lol. look how much juventus defense can defense against opponents strikers under sarri? pjanic is FINISHED.
they blown up the chance for donnarumma.
de ligt is a 16M useless defender, he had been invisible since sarri team.
dybala is all about contracts. u give him money, he will play well.
rabbiot is about money, the same attitudes happened when he at PSG, what change? nothing.
it is juventus will to bring useless foreigner as some fans requested.
they kept saying scezny is top 3 GK in the world. de ligt is a beast. bentancur and rabbiot are prodigy.
danilo is great. yeah he is great because he got no competition last year.
this juve is the same with del neri juve, full of mercenaries, the stars none of the playing for juve but for money and them self.
this juve also the copy of 90s intermilan. the team trying to go international recognition and bought many international stars and end up broke, win nothing & gain no significant trophies.
moggi and moratta always build their teams around ITALIANO, juventinita, sorter player with grinta.
agnelli, nedved and paratici trying too hard to copying inter failures.
they bought 117M old superstar not to win anything but to raise the followers on social media accounts. they did successfully do so with the cost of never gonna win anything anymore.
i will hire de zerbi or gasperini to win seri A. those people will not put pjanic as regista or experimenting with Ramsey.
what a useless coach that can’t see the 20yo fagiolo is even better than Arthur and let him go on loan and crying for pjanic???
    #allegriout

  11. Allegri has nothing to do with this debacle. This was clear last year with Pirlo (who is clueless) and now with a weakened squad, you ask Max to win trophies? When Lazio/Roma/Milan have made a decent mercato and Inter and Atalanta more or less have kept decent squads?
This is a failure of the Juventus management, deal with it. Allegri only accepted because 9m says a lot. Best Juventus can do is UCl qualification, and for that will need the help of the most famous club in Italy: “Friends of Juve Referee Club”

  12. whats he furious about ? still has the most stacked squad in the league even without Ronaldo who they let down btw, which is why he decided to jump ship. should had gotten Zizou as Pirlos replacement. then we would of seen Ronaldo stay and magia.
they got their so called prodigy Kean back who imo is a flat joke, along with Locatelli who will be misused and loaned in a years time. Chiesa is their only driving force.

  13. If Allegri is complaining because if Pjanic not coming let him take a paycut large enough that Juve can afford to pay his salary !

@FABIO PARATICI: these problems all started with Marotta ……..he spent 110 mill on Douglas Costa, Bernadeschi and Pjaca …….was it worth it ? seriously, was it ? he made sure to stick it to juve with these awful signing but don’t worry folks…..i can’t remember the last time Juve finished 9th place or worse, can inter or milan fans remember ?

  14. @Putuco re second post. 100%. If Napoli had won their game Juventus would be royally screwed right now. The fact that they’re still hanging on to the Super League fantasy says it all. The most indebted club in Serie A (since Inter made over 200mm this summer) and the two most indebted clubs on the planet (Barcelona and Madrid) continue to seek a short term non-solution. The buck stops with the clubs as to salaries and transfer fees paid. 300mm additional from playing in the Super League every year? Great, the players making 20mm-30mm now will ask for 50mm-70mm per year. The players making 5mm-20mm will ask for 20mm-50mm per year. Then what? A Super Super League? Absolute rubbish. Juventus needs to shut up and pay the piper. This includes the manager, who apparently couldn’t get a job anywhere else, or turned them down for god knows what reason.

  15. Thank god Locatelli and arrived and not old slow Pjanic. Kean and Jorge might be good in the future.

  16. Pjanic not joining is a blessing – he was always grossly overrated and judged on what he could do, rather than what he does or did do.

Same could be said of Dybala… he had one good season in the Juve shirt. Everything else is his ‘potential’… he’s been nowhere near a replacement for Del Piero. He’s 28 yrs old (I think) and we still talk about him like he’s 20.

Juventus’ biggest mistake was missing out on Donnaruma… that is one I’ll never understand. We passed on him for $10m and because the directors knew no one would have any interest to buy (or even loan) Szezny. That’s insane and such a short term view.

Thank goodness we got Chiesa and Locatelli… I almost feel bad they have joined this mess of a Juve.

  17. Glad they didn’t sign Pjanic but this team needs a proper regista badly and has needed it for years. I can’t understand how management doesnt see that?!?

  18. Allegri is a great coach, people have to stay calm. JUVE have a great squad and will win the lo scudetto. How far We will go in CL? We have a problem winning that trophy, last time was 1996 so you do the math. Its like England and the WC or EC.. But Allegri will do a very good job with this team, im not worried at all.

    FORZA JUVE! SEMPRE!!

  19. Man of Excuses. Watch him will use this as his excuse when Juve free diving to half bottom of the table. This crap club don’t even deserve any European competition next season.
