Juventus Coach Massimiliano Allegri warns Fiorentina will be ‘very difficult’ with the Scudetto in sight.

The Bianconeri need just four more points to mathematically wrap up the title, and could secure a fourth consecutive title tomorrow with a win if Lazio slip-up.

“This is a team [Fiorentina] which will want to make up for two defeats in a row,” Allegri cautioned in his pre-match Press conference.

“They’re a team who are doing very well in the League, even if their last two results haven’t been good. They’ve done very well in the Europe League, making the semi-finals.

“Tomorrow will be a very difficult game, because Fiorentina are a highly technical team, who always play well and are always difficult to deal with.

“We have to get back to winning ways to secure the three points which would leave us just one short of winning the League.”

The Old Lady lost just one match in the first 29 games of the season, but have now suffered defeat twice in their last three Serie A games.

Despite this, Allegri insists he’s not worried.

“These things can happen in football. I think the two games [we lost] against Parma and against Torino on Sunday are two different games.

“Against Torino it was a good performance, one of our better recent ones, especially given the number of chances we created.

“We had a lot of shots at goal, we hit the post three times, in defence we made three mistakes and conceded two goals.

“We’re focused, and we must remain focused on the League, because we need four points to be mathematically certain [of winning the Scudetto], so we have to try to get them.

“Then we’ll continue to work in the best way, because as well as the Champions League, where the two semi-finals will be the most important games of the season, we have the Coppa Italia final to play.

“We have to continue to work in a certain way, with the right attitude, that’s what will make the difference.”
