Allegri dreams of Salah to replace Dybala at Juventus

According to multiple reports in Italy, Liverpool star Mohamed Salah is Juventus‘ dream signing to replace Paulo Dybala in 2022-23.

The Egypt international sees his contract expire in 2023 and talks to extend his stay at Anfield have led nowhere so far. Il Corriere della Sera newspaper and Calciomercato.com report that he is Juventus’ main target to replace Dybala next season even if it won’t be easy to convince Liverpool to sell their star in the summer.

Salah’s economic demands are also seen as an obstacle to the deal, given that the former Roma star wants a higher salary than the current €12m per season. Juventus would use the growth decree to get a tax discount on the player’s gross salary, but even with that, they’d struggle to respect their financial parameters. Juventus are not only trying to strengthen their squad for 2022-23, but must do so by lowering their wage bill.

The Serie A giants will be looking for a winger or a new top-class centre midfielder to replace La Joya. The likes of Jorginho, Sergej Milinkovic-Savic and Paul Pogba are also possible targets to replace the Argentinean start next season.
