Massimiliano Allegri could become a strong candidate for Bayern Munich in the summer, rumours claim, as they prepare to bring in Ariedo Braida as a consultant.

The Bavarian giants have long decided to part ways with coach Thomas Tuchel at the end of the season and are now looking around for the right long-term replacement, needing to respond in the Bundesliga next season after Bayer Leverkusen’s incredible campaign this term.

In Italy, the pressure is also on Juventus to make a chance in the summer, with many fans completely losing faith in Allegri, who has not managed to impress in his second spell. The Old Lady have managed just two wins in their last 12 league games.

Allegri to Bayern?

As reported by Calciomercato.it, Bayern Munich are looking to bring in appreciated director Braida as a consultant, looking for solutions after their difficulties this season. The former Milan and Cremonese director has an ‘excellent’ relationship with Karl Heinz Rummenigge.

Braida has already travelled to Munich to meet with Rummenigge and an agreement could be reached in the coming weeks.

Following this, the report suggests Braida could try to bring Allegri to Bayern Munich in the summer, taking advantage of the relationship between Rummenigge and the coach’s agent Giovanni Branchini.
