Max Allegri could be heading towards the Saudi Pro League, as his agent was spotted visiting Al Ittihad after the shock Juventus dismissal.

Although it had been widely expected that he would be sacked this summer, despite his contract running to June 2025, few believed he wouldn’t be allowed to see out the season.

He was fired for behaviour ‘incompatible with the club values’ during and after the Coppa Italia Final victory over Atalanta last week.

There do not seem to be any Italian teams interested in taking Allegri on, so he could well head abroad for his next role.

It therefore raised eyebrows when his agent Giovanni Branchini was photographed in Saudi Arabia today, visiting Al Ittihad director Ramon Blanes.

Marcelo Gallardo was hired in November 2023, but the club is already looking elsewhere and Allegri would fit the bill.

Marca have also suggested that the Italian coach is an option for the Al Ittihad job.
