Napoli midfielder Allan has promised that his side will try to ‘make our fans happy’ when they host Juventus in Serie A this weekend.

Napoli trail Juve by 13 points going into the showdown at the San Paolo, but Allan believes his team have hit form just in time for the game.

“We had a great game against Parma, finding the goals that we’d lacked against Fiorentina and Torino,” he told Radio Kiss Kiss.

“We’re feeling confident and we remained calm when the goals weren’t going in. Milik? He’s a great player, the numbers say so.

“We’re in good shape up top. We also have Mertens, who’s an extraordinary striker. We’re not watching Juventus. We’re only thinking about ourselves, trying to do well.

“We have to play every game as if they’re Finals, trying to win them all. Then we’ll see how things pan out.

“How to prepare for the game against the Bianconeri? We know this is a special week, more for the fans than ourselves.

“Regardless of who our opponents are, we always go out to win. We’ll try to make our fans happy.”

The Brazilian wrapped up with a few words on the Partenopei’s Europa League hopes after they reached the last 16.

“We’re aiming to win it,” he added.

“We’re disappointed not to have gone further in the Champions League, but now we’ll try to go all the way in this competition.”
