Serie A 2021-22 is about to begin, so Football Italia takes a look at all the Serie A kits players will wear this season.

Defending champions Inter have a new kit sponsor after 26 years, with Pirelli replaced by Socios. The Nerazzurri’s new kit has a special snakeskin design with sponsors on the back and sleeves too.

There is a new interpretation of Milan’s home kit for 2021-22, with a white away kit without any stripes.

There a lots of changes for Roma as well, with Qatar Airways replaced by Digitalbits as the kit sponsor, while New Balance takes Nike’s place as the Giallorossi’s kit supplier.

Fiorentina have picked a retro style with a white stripe in the middle of their classic purple shirt and the same crest of the late ’80s when Brazilian legend Socrates was playing for the Tuscans.

Juventus retain their traditional black and white stripes on the 2021-22 home kit, while the Juventus away kit is black with dashes of colour through the shirt.

Torino pay tribute to River Plate with their away kit. It is white with a diagonal stripe across the chest, except rather than the River Plate red, it is the Torino Granata shade. It honours the  ‘eternal friendship’ with the Argentinean club.

The clubs have been twinned since the Superga tragedy in May 1949, when the Grande Torino squad perished in a plane crash.

Just three weeks later, River Plate flew in to play a friendly match against a team of Serie A stars representing Torino.

The away jersey marks the date of that game, May 26, 1949, along with the phrase ‘Eterna Amistad.’

Venezia‘s away kit is inspired by the tradition of Venetian mosaics. It features the regular crest on the left, with the Venezia writing in gold on the chest.
