Inter vs. Torino is an historic occasion, as it is the first Serie A match to be officiated by an all-female team, led by Maria Sole Ferrieri Caputi.

It kicked off at San Siro at 11.30 UK time (10.30 GMT).

Ferrieri Caputi is an old hand in Serie A by now, as the 33-year-old is today officiating her 10th Serie A match, making her debut in Sassuolo’s 5-0 win over Salernitana on October 2, 2022.

This time she is accompanied by assistants Francesca Di Monte and Tiziana Trasciatti, both 38.

These three had already officiated together in Serie B match Frosinone-Ternana in December 2022 and the Coppa Italia match between Napoli and Cremonese in January 2023.
