Alisson shares love for Roma after World Cup win over South Korea

Brazil goalkeeper Alisson Becker still holds Roma close to his heart and he shared this after Brazil’s World Cup win over South Korea.

The 30-year-old shot stopper, who spent two years of his career with the Giallorossi from 2016 to 2018 before leaving to Liverpool in a deal worth around €62.5m, is Brazil’s starting goalkeeper at the World Cup and he’s played all but one game so far, remaining benched for the 1-0 loss to Cameroon.

Alisson performed well in Brazil’s win over South Korea and after the full time whistle, he was approached by a Corriere dello Sport journalist, who asked him to comment on the victory. The former Roma goalkeeper was all smiles and he greeted the journalist with a pat on the back and a big smile, saying: “Forza Roma sempre!”

Alisson made 64 appearances across all competitions for Roma during his two years in the Italian capital, keeping 26 clean sheets and conceding 66 goals.
