"I'm sorry guys, but I'll have to talk later. OK?"

The Brazilian goalkeeper only joined from Internacional for €8m in 2016 and spent the first season as understudy to Wojciech Szczesny, not making a single Serie A appearance.

In the second term, he was a huge success, particularly in the Champions League where they went to the semi-final against Liverpool.

He becomes the most expensive ever goalkeeper, at a cost of €70m plus another €5m in bonuses, while he'll sign a five-year contract.

Chelsea and Real Madrid had also been interested, but Liverpool showed considerably more determination, especially after Loris Karius continued to make errors in pre-season.
