The game against Feyenoord kicks off in the Albanian Capital of Tirana tonight at 20.00 UK time (19.00 GMT).
During various press meetings ahead of Saturday’s Champions League Final, Liverpool goalkeeper Alisson spoke to Sky Sport Italia.
“I am a Roma fan, forza Roma always, best of luck to everyone!” said the Brazilian who wore the Giallorossi jersey from 2016 to 2018.
“I am certain it will be a great game and we will win. It’d be wonderful if Roma won the Conference League and I am very sad that I was unable to win any trophies while I was there.
“My family and I love Rome very much.”
What if Alisson was able to celebrate Roma winning the Conference League and then Liverpool lifting the Champions League a few days later?
“Now that would be a dream come true,” was his reply.
Alisson played 63 competitive matches in the Roma jersey, keeping 26 clean sheets, before he was sold to Liverpool in the summer of 2018 for €62.5m plus bonuses.
He had been purchased for just €8m from Internacional two years earlier.
