Corriere della Sera suggest that Alexis Sanchez is keen to return to Inter after leaving Olympique Marseille on a free transfer.

The Chilean forward spent two years with the Nerazzurri from September 2020 to August 2022, being an important option on the bench. He helped the side win a Scudetto, a Coppa Italia and a Supercoppa Italiana.

After leaving Inter, Sanchez spent a season in south France with Marseille, where he scored 18 goals and provided three assists across 44 total appearances, earning much appreciation from the fans.

As reported by Corriere della Sera via TMW, Sanchez has recently turned down offers from Spain and Al-Nassr, waiting for Inter to propose a contract.

The Nerazzurri are unable to make a move just yet, however, needing to find a buyer for Joaquin Correa.

During his two years with Inter, Sanchez scored 20 goals and provided 23 assists in 109 appearances across all competitions. His return would add a new veteran to the frontline, following the recent departure of Edin Dzeko.
