Alexis Sanchez was back working partially with his Inter teammates today, so could be in the squad against Sampdoria.

The Chile international has not yet played this season due to a muscular issue.

He has been gradually improving after treatment and today for the first time worked in part with the rest of the squad in training.

According to Sky Sport Italia, there’s a good chance that Sanchez will be on the bench for this weekend’s Serie A match against Sampdoria.

Inter won both their opening league fixtures against Genoa and Hellas Verona.

Sanchez had a series of injuries last season too and missed the first four games of the Copa America with Chile due to a calf injury, playing 45 minutes against Brazil on July 3.
