However, after an impressive start to the season, Rafa Benitez’s outfit have struggled to push on and find themselves in third place.
“Adaption to life in Naples was easy for me,” he told Radio Onda Cero.
“There were already a lot of teammates who spoke Spanish, a great Coach and a great environment to play football.
“We’ve been strong in attack this season, but we need to find balance overall – I think after such wholesale changes that’s normal though.”
Albiol then remarked on Spain’s friendly with Italy this evening.
