Raul Albiol says Napoli’s “goal is to win the Scudetto” but “we know it’ll be difficult”.
Maurizio Sarri’s side are two points clear of Juventus at the top of Serie A, with fans dreaming of a first title since 1990.
“We believe we can win every game,” Albiol said on Radio Kiss Kiss Napoli.

“We believe we can win every game,” Albiol said on Radio Kiss Kiss Napoli.
“The Scudetto? Yes, we’re here to win as much as possible, we all want to win it but we know it’s difficult. There are other teams who want to win, but we’re a great squad and we’re working together.
“We can do that until the end, that’s our motivation. Our highest goal is to win the Scudetto and to please all the fans, we’re working to achieve that.
“We’re going through a good period and are looking forward to the end the campaign. We want to finish as high as possible, in first place!
“There’s a long way to go though, we know we all have to work together. We know Juventus will win games, it’s normal because they have a great squad and they’re a club which is used to winning.
“That’s extra motivation for us, we want to finish above them. We need to pick up points, the next game is important.
“Before Christmas we were six points behind Inter, now we’re six points ahead. It’s a League which can change a lot in two days, we’re happy to have top spot and be ahed of Juve, Fiorentina, Inter and Roma.
“This week is crucial for us.”
The Partenopei had a scare this week, when top-scorer Gonzalo Higuain went off injured in a friendly, but the Argentinian will be fit to face Empoli this weekend.
“He’s fine, thank goodness. He’s fundamental for us. He took a knock, but he’s fine.
“Empoli? We’ve played against them three times and haven’t won any, it’s a difficult match. They play good football, we’ll need to play with intensity from the first minute.
“We have to stay focused, we can’t make mistakes at home.”
