Napoli defender Raul Albiol isn’t sure Juventus’ Cristiano Ronaldo can score as many goals in Serie A as La Liga – “it’s a different football”.
The Spaniard played alongside CR7 at Real Madrid, where the forward managed more goals than games and hit at least 40 goals in every season bar his first.
“It’ll be difficult to score 40 goals [here],” Albiol predicted on Radio Marca.

“It’s a different football to the Spanish one. His arrival has been a boon for Serie A though, now there’s a lot more interest in our league.”
Ronaldo has so far played three Serie A matches for the Bianconeri, but is yet to score.
