Albania are set to officially appoint former Lazio and Napoli boss Edy Reja as their new CT.

Sky Sport Italia is among those that claim Reja will meet Albanian FA chief Armand Duka on Wednesday, where his hiring will be formalised.

He is expected to sign a one-year contract with the country, despite holding out for two.

The 73-year-old is vastly experienced, having coached the likes of Lazio and Napoli, although he has not worked since leaving Atalanta in 2016.

He will become the third consecutive Italian to take charge of Albania after Gianni De Blasi and Christian Panucci.
