Kylian Mbappé has refused to hold talks with Al Hilal, but the Saudi Pro League side are reportedly on the verge of signing Italy international Marco Verratti.
Fabrizio Romano reports negotiations between PSG and Al-Hilal for Verratti are at an advanced stage with the Italian midfielder who has been offered a three-year deal.
According to the Italian transfer expert, an agreement between the two clubs is ‘close’ so much so documents to finalise Verratti’s transfer are already being prepared.
Al-Hilal are also willing to sign Mbappé who has been put on the market after refusing to sign a contract extension with PSG.
However, according to Romano, the French superstar doesn’t even want to sit down with the Saudi Pro League side although a delegation of Al-Hilal is flying to Paris hoping to convince the 24-year-old.
Mbappé has been dropped for PSG’s pre-season tour in Japan and is not expected to play for the Ligue 1 giants again if the doesn’t sign a contract extension.
