Eriksen is expected to leave the Nerazzurri after only one year at San Siro, but the club is still waiting for the first approach for the former Tottenham Hotspur player.

The report reveals former club Ajax are in touch with the 28-year-old’s entourage, opening up for a return to Amsterdam.

But Wolves are also mentioned as a possible destination, as the broadcaster reports contact from the Wanderers.

Eriksen spent four years with Ajax, moving to the youth team from Odense in January 2009 and was signed by Spurs in August 2013.

The Dane won three Eredivisie titles, one Dutch Cup and one Dutch Super Cup during his time with Ajax and has been capped 103 times by Denmark.
